Welcome to
Royal Medicare Academy
The academy began when Dr. Omar considered how to help GP trainees (especially IMG trainees) pass the AKT exam. Dr. Omar has been teaching undergraduate and postgraduate students since 2006. He has developed his own style of simplifying complex facts and organising medical knowledge in an easily memorable way.
The goal of Royal Medicare Academy is to help as many GP trainees as possible pass the exam with a financially affordable course.
Dr. Omar regularly updates his course notes according to recent guidelines and latest RCGP AKT feedback reports.
The pass rate for the last year’s exams among his candidates was 85-90%.
Dr. Omar regularly conducts free and charity sessions.
